If you’re visiting the idyllic Cotswolds countryside and are looking for a place to eat (or spend a leisurely afternoon), look no further than the Daylesford Organic Farm Shop in Gloucestershire. With a dedicated deli, bakery, cheese and dairy shop, restaurant, wine shop, florist, farm, home goods store, and cooking school…this unique retail/dining concept might be the prettiest place to browse, shop, and eat in the English countryside.
The space is bright and airy…
With the prettiest produce displays….
Shelves of fresh-pressed juice….
And freshly-baked bread…
Not to mention this amazing assortment of cheese. Talk about a foodie’s fantasy!
I especially loved the home decor and florist shop. I wanted to buy everything in sight!
Most everything on the restaurant and bar menu is organic, and the menu rotates every month based on what’s fresh and in season. We visited in September and enjoyed a variety of colorful soups and salads – everything tasted bright, refreshing, and tasty! I would highly recommend the salad assortment (you can pick 3 different salads from their daily selection).
After a lengthy car ride of driving through the countryside, I’d highly recommend making a pit stop at Daylesford to stretch your legs and get a bite to eat. I know any time I visit the Cotswolds, I’ll be making a stop here. Maybe next time, I’ll even take some time to taking a cooking class! How fun that would be!
