- See the lavender and sunflower fields in the Provence countryside and eat plenty of cheese and wine
- Spontaneously visit somewhere ‘off-the-beaten-path’ (meaning, a country that isn’t on this list and not top-of-mind for us)

Great list! Add to it:
1. Istambul Grand Bazaar
2. Prague over Winter holidays – it is magical!
3. Hamburg – it is different from Munich/Bavaria, so you can experience different Germany.
4. Bulgaria’s Golden Sands (near Varna)
5. Louvre (anyway, you can combine it with your croissant :), get a chocolate one on Seine’s bank
